There’s no doubt that securing your dream job is rewarding but can be hard to find, especially if you’re new to Australia and English is not your first language. Practising interview skills and networking can be key. UGL has helped with this, hosting mock interviews with participants from the City East Mentor Program.

The event, saw engineering, tourism, and HR job seekers meet with our team. They had one-on-one interviews and spent time at the end of the session to network with leaders from across the business.

UGL has partnered with the City East Mentor Program since 2019 by providing mentors, offering employment opportunities, and events such as the mock interviews.

The City East Mentor Program (which is part of City East Community College) supports migrants and refugees to seek employment, and gain skills and experience.
