  • Anita Govender

    Anita Govender - Engineering Manager

    It’s my 21st birthday….as an engineer in rail. Having started out as South Africa’s first female railway signalling engineer it has been an incredible journey across South Africa, the UK and now Australia having worked in rail maintenance and operations, consulting, where I was the first female director at one of the top 5 consultancies in South Africa and now to construction in Australia. My mantras are:  1. Leave behind a legacy of excellence.  2. We always finish stronger than we started.  3. Above all, laughter is the best medicine, spread the joy!

  • Leisa Brooks

    Leisa Brooks - General Manager HSE

    Leisa joined UGL in February 2017 as the National HSE Operations Manager for our Maintenance & Manufacturing business unit.  Approximately 2 years later, she was promoted to the General Manager HSE role and now oversees the entire Transport & Technology division. Leisa’s role is responsible for the development & implementation of HSE strategies, inclusive of a HSE improvement plan that will ensure the health, safety & wellbeing of all workers with the T&T business.  Leisa is passionate about providing leadership, direction, inspirational management, and progressive instruction to the extended HSE team.

  • Alison Devereaux

    Alison Devereaux - National Commercial Manager

    Alison is a degree qualified quantity surveying from the UK. She has been a chartered surveyor for over 20 years. Alison’s experience has seen her manage multi-disciplinary teams the largest of which was a team of 35. She has now lived in Australia for 8 years and have spent her career in the commercial management space  in building and civils. Alison joined UGL in November last year when making the career choice to move into the rail sector.  

  • Kat Eather

    Kat Eather - Senior Legal Counsel 

    Kat is senior legal counsel in UGL’s industrial relations team. The team looks after workforce and union relations, agreement negotiations, rates for tenders and bids along with compliance with workplace laws and dealing with employment related disputes for all of UGL’s business divisions and projects. Kat has been a practicing employment lawyer for 10 years, the past 2 of which have been in house with UGL.

  • Adriana Loreto

    Adriana Loreto - Senior Design Manager

    Adriana has 19 years’ local and international experience in major projects delivery within the oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, power systems, renewables and water treatment industries. Adriana has a bachelor’s in chemical engineering and has worked with UGL for over 12 years, originally as a Senior Process Engineer, in a variety of projects and bids around Australia and overseas. Currently leading the design team for a variety of major projects, Adriana’s has an in depth and end-to-end understanding of all the project phases and how they interface. She takes pleasure working in large multidisciplinary projects, giving her the opportunity to continuously nurture her knowledge across the various engineering fields. This knowledge ensures that her projects will be constructible, robust and value for money.
