UGL Infrastructure and Sustainability |
|
As one of Australia’s leading diversified engineering and construction companies, UGL Infrastructure recognises the need to operate in a sustainable way. In all areas of operations we have rigorous environmental processes which ensure potential impacts are eliminated or minimised, while ensuing that our social and economic objectives are met. This is achieved through the implementation of our ISO14001 certified environmental management system. Our projects have adopted sustainably practices in line with the UGL sustainability charter and in line with our clients and the community’s expectations. Our projects are designed to improve the environmental and community outcomes and include: - Building and operating recycled water plants;
- Improving safety on our public transport;
- Building and improving sewerage treatment plant;
- Constructing alternative power stations; and
- Reducing sewage overflows.
UGL Infrastructure is always focussed on improving the environmental outcomes for our clients and the community in a sustainable manner. | The TrackStar Alliance engaged Australia Zoo’s Wildlife Warriors to conduct all spotter and catcher work associated with the Caboolture to Beerburrum track duplication project. | |
