Apprentice log now a piece of cake

Noticing apprentices having a backlog of paperwork, Michael Pene found a solution so they can spend more time on the tools. Michael has won the Very Best Award for innovation after developing an online app so apprentices can record subjects completed, works undertaken, update a daily diary, and upload photos.

The tool will provide a completed four-year log and is reported to their manager on a monthly basis. So far there’s only been positive feedback from apprentices and managers!
