Our UGL resources team is celebrating one year of operations at the bp Kwinana Energy Hub Terminal in Western Australia for Australian Terminals Operations and Maintenance (ATOM), a joint venture between UGL and bp.
ATOM operates fuel terminals across Australia and has engaged UGL since 2015 to ensure safe and reliable operations across projects, engineering, maintenance, and asset management.
Last year, ATOM welcomed the Kwinana Energy Hub Terminal into its portfolio, a site with a rich history dating back to the 1950s. With Kwinana a key fuel supply to Western Australia, our commitment to safety, integrity, reliability, and operability is unwavering.
“I am proud of the team’s hard work and dedication to providing safe and reliable terminal operations," Thomas Richardson, UGL Operations Manager - Fuels and Engineering.
“Collaboration has been key. UGL is proud to have leveraged our longstanding relationship with ATOM and bp, along with the support of the wider WA resources team. Together, we’ve tackled challenges head on, emerging stronger and more resilient.”
UGL has a dedicated project team of more than 150 employees working with ATOM at terminals across Australia.
