The UGL Rivervale team has grown significantly, and a group of employees created a social committee to help welcome new people.
The committee, consisting of John Buxton, Melissa Stokes, Kathie Den Hollander, Joe Blundell, Marty Koop, Veda Armoogum, Smitha Paritala, Neil Simmonds, Denis Hilliard and Manikandan Pandurangan, has worked hard to bring together people from a wide range of backgrounds.
They organised a successful Harmony Day celebration where many team members wore traditional outfits from their home country, as well as sharing delicious treats. There was even a diversity trivia game!
Events have also been organised to celebrate the end of Ramadan and ANZAC Day.
These events have played a big role in helping to welcome new colleagues and building team culture which would not have happened as quickly without the social committee.
