Our Industrial and Resources team went above and beyond during last year's Christmas shutdown period, recruiting more than 90 people to begin work on January 10 this year.
The team, made up of Monica Stoddard, Sharon McKeown, Jo Green, Isabella Little, Alex Wasyliw, and Stacey Stevenson, was notified on December 21 by our client of the need to recruit and sprung into action, working Christmas eve, Boxing Day, and weekends to ensure all crew landed onsite and were ready to work in January.
“This was a mammoth task that took determination and teamwork to complete. The ability to succeed in recruiting such a high number of people in a short period of time demonstrates the capability and positive culture in the Industrial and Resources team,” says UGL Group Manager P&C, Operations, Ashleigh Olds.
The team has been awarded a Very Best Award for Culture for their hard work.
