Aaron Hodge, a S08 Painter Tradesperson in Broadmeadow, is part of the team which helped win the first stand-alone paint project for the Newcastle Operations site. The project was to paint a locomotive.
It was a big task which involved investigating paint systems to achieve the desired outcome the customer wanted and keeping the original historical appearance of the paint scheme of that era.
Aaron worked closely with a Dulux supplier, taking calls outside of work hours to ensure the right paint was chosen.
Aaron’s work has been recognised by UGL through a Very Best Award for customer.
