Celebrating its one-year construction milestone this month, Glenrowan Solar Farm has not only made significant progress but also underscored its commitment to powering Australian homes with clean energy.
Pacific Partnerships has overseen the development and management, with UGL responsible for the delivery of the project.
Located just 2km south-west of Glenrowan in Victoria, this solar farm, with a capacity of 130MWp, has been steadily making strides towards completion in early 2024.
In the past year, the dedicated team behind the Glenrowan Solar Farm has achieved remarkable milestones:
- 32,000 total number of piles laid
- 226,000 total number of panels
- 2,150 number of trackers installed
- 125 direct full-time equivalent jobs created during the construction phase
- 50,000 trees and shrubs planted.
- 45,000 homes powered by the solar farm.
