UGL has been awarded a 3.5-year contract by NBN Co under nbn’s program to upgrade the remaining Fibre to the Node network.
Under the contract, UGL will provide design, access and engagement, construction and installation services to deploy additional fibre infrastructure to premises across Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
The contract is expected to generate revenue for UGL of more than $120 million over the initial term. The contract includes a 2-year extension option, at nbn’s election.

Work is expected to commence in June 2025.
