Jeremy joined UGL in 2022 and is now our Bid and Estimating Manager, helping UGL secure work on some of Australia’s largest telecommunications, data centre and digital infrastructure projects.
Working closely with engineering, operations and commercial teams, Jeremy has played a key role in developing winning strategies on major projects including the Telstra InfraCo Intercity Fibre Network (Aura), and the NBN Node-to-Premises national fibre upgrade.
During his time with UGL, Jeremy has seen the business expand its role in Australia's rapidly growing digital infrastructure sector, building on its established telecommunications expertise to deliver end-to-end solutions.
“When I joined, we were still establishing the foundations and building capability. Today, we've got a strong pipeline across regional connectivity, long-haul and inter-capital fibre networks and data centres,” Jeremy said.
“It's been exciting to see that growth firsthand and to work on opportunities that are helping position UGL at the forefront of Australia's digital infrastructure market.”
Jeremy enjoys guiding opportunities from early development through to submission, bringing together diverse teams to solve complex problems and deliver the best outcomes for clients.
“Every project is different. There's a real sense of achievement in seeing months of planning come together in a successful submission,” he said.
“What makes the role even more meaningful is knowing the projects we work on have a real impact in the community. Whether it's deploying edge data centres that support AI and cloud services or expanding mobile and carrier networks to keep businesses and communities connected, our work enables the digital services people and businesses rely on every day.”
