When the right people and insights come together, careers move forward with purpose.
UGL telecommunications team members attended the Women in Construction Summit 2026 in Sydney and Melbourne, gaining practical tools, fresh perspectives, and valuable industry connections.
“I connected with inspiring women from diverse backgrounds, and discussions highlighted resilience, confidence, and continuous growth,” said Priti Singh, UGL Project Engineer.
Bringing together professionals from more than 120 organisations, the summit focused on leadership, capability building, and creating meaningful change. Through panel discussions, masterclasses, and interactive sessions, attendees explored strategies to strengthen resilience, develop skills, and navigate career pathways.
UGL Senior Project Administrator Jelena Stokuca said the summit reinforced the value of connection, growth, and opportunity.
“It provided practical insights and tools that I can apply in my day-to-day work, particularly in leadership, communication, and career development. It was a great opportunity to step back, learn, and invest in building long-term capability.”
Natalie Morgan, UGL Delivery Manager, highlighted the value of open dialogue:
“It was a great opportunity to connect with like-minded women and have open conversations about our experiences and how we can support greater diversity in the industry. It was also inspiring to see the initiatives women are leading across the sector.”
For the UGL team, the summit reinforced the importance of investing in people, building inclusive environments, and supporting future leaders. Through initiatives such as our Gender Equality Action Plan, UGL continues to strengthen diversity, support career growth, and contribute to a more inclusive industry.
