UGL will carry out the installation of high voltage infrastructure that will connect a Tesla supplied Battery Energy Storage System at the Western Downs Green Power Hub for Neoen. The hub is situated approximately 250 kilometres west of Brisbane.

Project details
Once the construction is completed, UGL will also be responsible for the installing the battery. The battery will work in conjunction with Neoen’s Western Downs solar farm at the same location, enabling stored energy to be transmitted into the electricity network starting from the end of 2024 to early 2025.
